Federal agents tackled the suspect, who they say was armed with a machete and other weapons. Three people sustained minor injuries in the incident."

#BLM is at it again. As always they are protesting over a bogus narrative. As ALWAYS. "Madison, Wisconsin police shot and killed career criminal Corey Ruiz, who, while fleeing from the police on his bicycle, pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the officers."
"Black Lives Matter protests have come back in force, with people setting up barricades on streets with their bicycles and surrounding people in the cars. Police have essentially ceded control of the streets to the mob. Here's video of a man trying to get into what one protester calls a 'racist bar.' We're not sure what makes the bar racist other than remaining open for business."
All the typical mob-like behavior they are known for, chanting nonsense like "Hey hey, these killer cops have got to go!", "Whose streets? Our streets! Justice for Corey!" as they prevented patrons from entering Madison businesses. As always, the suspect Ruiz did receive justice. As always they want 'justice' for a violent ex-con with a lengthy record (more than 25 convictions), including for assaulting cops and who was trying to kill cops at the time he was shot. I.e. the perfect subject for a #BLM protest.
Police were responding to reports of a man attempting to enter parked vehicles in a trendy neighborhood lined with shops and restaurants. He fled on bike. Then resisted arrest. Then stabbed an officer with a knife. A second officer was injured in the fight. Of course this was justified use of deadly force. Obvious to anyone by #BLM and other left wing idiots. The guy not only non complying but was stabbing the police with a deadly weapon. The left always sides with the criminal and the terrorist no matter the circumstances. They could be trying to kill the cops but they are the victim. They could commit horrible atrocities like 10/7 but they are the victim.

He didn't participate in high school sports his freshman year, then swooped in again for just two races at the end of the season his sophomore year (fall of 2025) in cross country just so he could compete at the League Championships where he placed 2nd in the "girls'" race.

"One of the most striking graphics I've seen tells a story you probably haven't seen in the news. Using data from the European Commission's Global Wildfire Information System, it shows that 2026 has experienced the lowest cumulative burned area across the Americas in at least the past decade. A second graphic, using the same global database, shows that every inhabited continent is running below its recent average for area burned this year, with Africa, the Americas, and Europe at record lows."
"Another telling graph comes from fire research published by the Royal Society. Drawing on evidence from more than 800 fire-scar sites across western North America, it shows that large wildfires were substantially more common before 1900 than they are today. Fire activity declined with changes in land management, livestock grazing, settlement patterns, and organized fire suppression. In other words, today's forests are not burning at historically unprecedented levels. The broader scientific literature reflects this. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in chapter 12 of their Sixth Assessment Report has concluded there is low confidence in observed global trends for fire weather and burned area. The IPCC also reports with high confidence that the global land area burned has declined in recent decades. That is a far more cautious assessment than many news reports suggest."
